Law of Averages

I decided to try something new, we'll see how it goes, if it bombs, then we'll try something else.

Some numbers don't mean a thing, others tell the whole story. I don't propose that these numbers are one of the other. Rather, something to chew on.
What I am going to list is the average scores for UGA and each of it's opponents. If UGA has already played the team I will list the actual score. Each teams record will also be in "()".

UGA 32.6 - 14

OkSt 33.4 - 26 / 35 - 12 (3-2)
S.C. 27.2 - 15.6 / 12 - 16 (4-1)
WCU 19.4 - 42.4 / 45 - 16 (1-4)
Ala 30.8 - 20.2 / 23 - 20 (3-2)
Miss 21.2 - 33 / 45 - 17 (1-4)
Tenn 34.5 - 37.5 (2-2)
Vandy 28 - 16.25 (3-1)
Fla 42.8 - 19.6 (4-1)
Troy 34 - 33.2 (3-2)
Aub 27 - 19 (3-2)
Kent 46.6 - 22 (5-0)
GT 29.6 - 14.4 (3-2)

Teams that score more than 28 points - 9
Teams that score more than 28 points and have a winning record - 8
Teams that score less than 17 points - 0

Teams that allow less than 17 points - 4
Teams that allow less than 17 points and have a winning record - 4

The UGA-WCU score was the closest to WCU's average.
The UGA-OkSt score was the closest to UGA's average.

When you average what UGA scores & what Tenn gives and then what Tenn scores & UGA gives, you get:

UGA 35 - Tenn 24
