Dogs embarrassed by Vols

We're going to keep this short, because games like this tend to evoke the potty-mouth.

It was a horrible exhibition of football by the Dogs. I would have to think hard to remember a time when we played so poorly. I stopped watching by halftime, so while my assessments may not be based on a total examination, I feel pretty sure they are fairly accurate.

OFFENSE: F
Only 2 good drives out of 12; those were the only 2 drives of more than 19 yards. Both came after Tennessee had a 28 point lead. The run game was ineffective and the passing game was not good either.

DEFENSE: F
It was hard to tell we were even playing defense during the first half. We were out of place, over-matched and run-over most of the day. They gashed us on the ground and even though Ainge didn't throw for 200 yards, their passing game was precise and we did little to stop it aside from allowing them to run instead of having to pass. By the time we started playing a little defense the game as over.

SPECIAL TEAMS: C-
Brian Mimbs probably had the best performance out of all UGA players: 7 punts that averaged 48.6 yards with a long of 66 yards. He had 4 inside the 20, but was blocked once, which was less his fault and more a cause of poor protection.

OVERALL: F

It wasn't hard to see who was prepared for this game and who wasn't, but we have to fix those problems and get ready to play Vandy.
