We interrupt college football...
Just in case you didn't see this, which technically I didn't either, the Boston Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies to win the World Series.
I watched about 20 minutes total of the entire series which has to be one of the worst series in recent history. The Rockies seemed very over-matched and the Red Sox were still riding the emotional comeback in the series with Cleveland. The series recap is such:
Game 1: Boston 13-1
Game 2: Boston 2-1
Game 3: Boston 10-5
Game 4: Boston 4-3
The Rockies played pretty good in game 2, tried to fight back in games 3 & 4, but the Red Sox bats & Papelbon's arm were just too much for a young team of upstarts.
Tim McCarver's arrogance and a boring 4-0 sweep... Only on FOX!
Oh, and tears in Taiwan, A.Rod hangs up his pinstripes.

No tears here. A-Rod is an unbelievable players but he never fit with the Yanks. Tears would be more appropriate for Joe Torre or if they don't resign Jorge or Andy Pettitte.
