Party Crashers and Crash & Burns

Well, there was a quite a bit of a shake up in college football. Several undefeated lost and several upstarts made the claim for respect. So without further delay...

1. Ohio State (1)
2. Michigan (2) - Didn't let the Spartans come close to giving them a scare.
3. Florida (3) - This team is for real and getting better as the season goes on.
4. USC (4) - How long can this team keep getting by and avoiding scares?
5. West Virginia (6)
6. Texas (7) - Slowly climbing back into the National Title race.
7. Louisville (9) - I know they are still winning, but they don't look quite as potent without Brohm and Bush.
8. Tennessee (11) - It's officially a comeback for a team that was a horrible disappointment last year.
9. Cal (15) - Has punished everyone they've played except the Vols.
10. Clemson (13) - Sure the rallied against Wake, but remember Wake was undefeated going into the game and what good team hasn't rallied this year? Okay, L'ville, WVU and Ohio St, but who else?
11. Auburn (5) - Physically manhandled by the Hogs, just like last year's debacle against the Badgers.
12. Notre Dame (12) - What?! You expected them to move up with a win against an 0-5 Stanford team?
13. Georgia Tech (16) - I wasn't surprised to see Maryland give them a scare, but I wasn't surprised to see Tech manage to avoid the letdown (this year).
14. Iowa (18) - Bounced back nicely from their loss to the Buckeyes.
15. LSU (8) - Pretty much out of any race of consequence.
16. Mizzou (23) - Probably a bit high, but heck, they're undefeated.
17. UGA (17) - The ingredients for a good team are there, they just haven't come together.
18. Arkansas (NR) - Killing Auburn almost makes you forget that thrashing they took from USC... almost.
19. Boise State (21) - Keeps on winning.
20. Oregon (10) - Karma? Nah, just Cal.
21. Virginia Tech (19) - Bad week to have a bye = outta sight, outta mind.
22. Nebraska (22) - I still haven't figured out how good this team is, but I will err on caution.
23. Oklahoma (14) - It could be worse... it could be last year.

25. Boston College (NR)
